Flick Play Mobile IOS, Android

FlickPlay is an Augmented Reality Social Media app for mobile where the audience can find AR backdrops and interactive elements in their area to make and post video content. It can best be described as TikTok meets Pokemon Go.

My role primarily dealt with Tech Art. I would help set up, prototype and stress test render pipeline settings with assets created using Blender and finalized within Apple's ARKit. I aso rigged characters with Blender and Maya so that 3rd party resources could animate player avatars' emotes and other behaviors.

Some of the prototypes I created involved making collectibles of varying rarity while others leveled up over time based on how long a user had the collectible, follower count and viral nature of their content.

​

The company direction changed somewhat towards NFT creation and so I researched and created a series of Python scripts to create randomized NFT collectibles based on randomized, arbitrary traits along with manually set ones as needed. I also made a bunch of props and accessories that a 'MooCart' could be generated with.

Duties:

-Created a lot of Look Dev assets for various AR set dressing and backdrops

-Optimized current and newly released AR content drops

-Developed NFT randomization scripts using Blender

-Character Rig setups for proposed Avatar system

-Created mock Avatar rig and base to showcase system using company mascot (Flicky)
