Pokemon Go doesn't really need an introduction. I worked as support or maintenance like other departments when new content launches were being released. The buddy system saw a complete overhaul to the app as a whole. The icons used in game were replaced with much more easily scaleable 3d geometry and shaders that recreated the initial look and feel of the originals. I supported the animation and tools teams at times to add or edit or fix bugs and functionality or test integration with other systems.

Lots of people over the years have supported the game and my contributions have more than likely since been updated and overwritten.

 

The other screens that make no sense in this context are actually from a cancelled mini project, kind of like a PikMin test of sorts.

​

There are actually tons of internal projects that will never see the light of day that Niantics have worked on over the years, which is a bummer.
